Jewellery Furniture  Exploring the intersection of craft, architecture and display, my work is transitioning into architectural ceramics, translating the structural balance of material recontextualisation of wearable art into frameworks to hold, elevate and display jewellery and small objects. The work combines wheel-thrown and handbuilt techniques to investigate the role, purpose and influence of the pedestal. My technical approach relies on diverse firing processes - wood, soda and raku where intense heat, vapor and thermal shock leave physical traces on the clay.
